how to enable IPv6 forwarding


Would you please help me in this,


I configured IPv6 add manually on the eth0 interface of the SLES10,

and /etc/radvd.conf to advertises the configs, with these entries:

interface eth0 {
AdvSendAdvert on;
MinRtrAdvInterval 3;
MaxRtrAdvInterval 10;
prefix 2001:0db8:0100:f101::/64 {
AdvOnLink on;
AdvAutonomous on;
AdvRouterAddr on;
};
};

but when I executed the radvd restart command, this error appeared
radvd: IPv6 forwarding seems to be disabled, exiting.


would you please tell me how to enable the IPv6 forwarding ??????

$ sudo sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.all.forwarding=1

I believe that should work.

If you have not logged in **UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES** CLICK ON THE 'work' NewsDaily LINK. IT OPENS MULTIPLE WINDOWS THAT WILL NOT GO AWAY. IT IS QUITE DISGUSTING THAT LQ HAS SUNK TO THIS.
