how to disable knoppix firewall
 

I can send pings and the others on my network can't I'm using a static ip.
I'd configured the samba server and its seems fine. I' d can't acces my network.

ok you need to clarify what's wrong

Is ping working ?
what are the addresses ?
where are you pinging?
what network resources cant you access?

please be more specific in your postings as it will help you get a quicker response.

If its the iptables firewall that you are concerned about in knoppix if it even comes with one. then "iptables -F" without the quotes will take the firewall down.

AFAIK there is no firewall active in knoppix 3.4 and I don't know about 3.5 or 3.6 as I haven't had time to test them. More information and I think we might be able to help.
