how to connect to a windows machine

Hi,
I have a home network with 5 computers, 4 are windows and my linux box (FC 2).
they are all connected through a local network. I can't make my linux SEE the other windows boxes, what should I do to be able to see and access them?

First things first, read the man page on a tool called smbclient. Should help you understand the basics. Otherwise it depends exactly what you are trying to do. Seeing them as you put it is pretty simple. Go into your favorite browser and type smb://<workgroup name>. This should let you see your computers on your local workgroup.

Hi,
Thanks you for answering me.
I have tried smb:// <workgroup_name> without bracets and had nothing!
and gave me no error message in konqueror, but in Nautilus, it said it can't open the windows network.
what else may I do?
