I have used minicom to configure my switches with great success, give it a shot, it should work fine w/o a graphical interface

I was checkign minicom

A weird thing trought .. I notice the kernel set /dev/ttyS00 and ttyS01 ports .. but there is no /dev/ttyS00 .. only /dev/ttyS0

anybody ever seen this ? I wen thru 4 boxes .. all the same

also, using minicom, do I have to fake /dev/modem as the port ?
