Question how to configure VLAN tag interface IBM x3250 M3 running RHEL 6 on it.

Hi

I have an IBM server model IBM x3250 M3 it has OS: RHEL 6.8. In server I am able to access it through putty or ssh but not its IMM console. Thus there is solution perpose to configure VLAN tagging for IMM. So my question is will it also be require to configure VLAN tagging in Server NIC in Linux as IMM is shareable port with NIC port in this server model and Network team will make switch port trunk on which this server is connected.

Please suggest. Also please suggest does IBM x3250 M3 model IMM support VLAN Tagging?

Thanks & Regards
Charanjit Singh

Ok, we will suggest (as we have before), that you call Red Hat support for help with RHEL. You are using an IBM server with RHEL...a supported environment. Questions about the IBM hardware/IMM interface can be answered by IBM, and questions about configuration of that can be answered either by IBM or RHEL.
