how to configure tun.. urgent


Hi,

I have a client program which opens /dev/net/tun and is waiting for data from tun. But i dont know how to configure tun. Can anybody give me an example. LIke if i want that ping 10.0.0.2 goes to this client program, then how do i configure tun.
I know the first step is
tunctl -u root -t tun
