how to configure network in FC5

Hi Frinds

i hv installed FC5 from lfy dvd and it is working great.
i am not able to congifure network settings so tht i can access net on lfy system.
i hv entered the detail of IP Address, Gateway, Preferred DNs in Network Setttings Under Control Center and my ethernet card is also active.

when i ping my ip address it shows ok. but i am not able to access the net thrugh linux.

what is your IP/Gateway/Subnet/DNS?

Can you ping your gateway?

you might also want to post the results of an ifconfig -a command

wat type ?
Ru using a Dsl or with a modem .. in such cases u need to download a patch from the Isp's webpage for ur browser to work


Ru gettin reply from the gateway ??
