how to configure nameservers on Fedora Core 5
I am a complete newbie that has un unmanaged Fedora Core 5 server. I would like to configure my own nameservers. I have 2 ip's, and would like to use ns1.canithost.com and ns2.canithost.com. I do have complete root access, but I am not sure of what I have to edit / modify to make this work.
I have put the 2 ip's in the resolv.conf, but what else?
Thanks in advance.

sorry i'm not sure what you want to actually do... they are real name servers already and you just want to use them? or you to host DNS on those ip addresses? for the former yeah just add "nameserver 12.34.56.78" to resolv.conf, for the second, you need to learn how to use BIND.

Where can I get info on using Bind? I would like to host my own dns. Is this something too complicated for a newbie to grasp?
