you seriously expect help posting such an insulting message as that? Bold red writing is not going to make you any friends here. Go read the documentation and come back when you have a suitably specific question. we are not here to nanny you through large projects.
dharminders, huge red letters with such a generic question won t get you any answers, although to be honest usually I havent been answered much anyway
acid_kewpie, stupid answer to a stupid post. I usually live by the moral, if you re not going to say something useful in a constructive way, shut it...
Anyway, answering vaguely your post, I just set up one myself on a Fedora Core 4 with Samba 3.
I suggest you start off using the most straightforward config you can find and getting that to work.
In this case try no roaming profiles & smbpasswd file for user logins.
Just so your aware, Samba cannot act as a Active directory Replacement, it has limitations ( http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=308484 ), i strongly suggest you start googleing for information on samba as a PDC before trying this out.
