there are 60 computers in our network and we need to configure
jdk.is there any way to update the .bash_profile of 260 users all at once , any other methods ?

Download an iso of Knoppix, add a script on the iso which make the appropriate changes. Sounds good?
I would also make a change on every computer in "/etc/rc.local" so that they download a small script every time it boots and checks if it is going to upgrade something (the negative effects would be security risks). This would help you a lot the next time you had to administer the computers.
If all the 260 boxes had ssh with the same root password you could also make a script which went thrue them all, made the appropriate changes and disconnected...
