do you mean DNS server setup or specifyin name servers?

to specify name servers, open up a terminal and as root, edit the /etc/resolv.conf file:

mine looks like this:

Code:
nameserver 205.152.37.254
nameserver 205.152.0.5
search bellsouth.net

you can leave out the search line, it really does nothing for me anyway. it just means if i just put in a hostname somewhere, it will tack on .bellsouth.net.

if you mean setting up a DNS server....you dont wanna use a GUI tool for that either.

But how did you get your nameservers? I'm trying to figure that out. When it comes to the Name Servers part, how do I get nameservers so I can point my domain to them?

do it manually

I also tried to use the RH gui DNS setup but got frustrated and ended up doing it manually. It's a pain, but worth it in the end- I never found any gui's that I could understand- webmin also has one if you are bent on the gui, just download it. There are many good resources on this site (just search) and on google, just look around.
