how to check linux boxes in network?


Hi,

I have 3 linux box connected and working fine, but is there any tool to check how many linux box on networks? If I add additional 2 boxes, how can I verify it?

nmap can sometimes identify types of OSes running on machines. Just depends on how accruate the fingerprint source is.
