How to change TTL value?


How can I change the value of TCP/ICMP/... packets?
10x in advance

Hello,

You can dynamically change ttl by modifying the value of this file: /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_default_ttl

I've changed this value but it works only when pinging from LAN PCs to linuxbox, when ping is coming from my linuxbox to another LAN PC there is no change.
