I am using SUSE 10.2, i am new to linux. How to browse shared file in LAN most of the systems are windows based. So, can any one help me in accessing the shared files.

You would use samba to share files over a linux / windows network. Would advise reading up on it. Basically involves installing samba on your linux machine, adding users you want to share with and then configuring your /etc/samba/smb.conf file to list the directories you want to share.
That's very broad I know but it's been a while and I'm away from my LAN right now ...
