how to activate two network cards in same cpu

i have two network card in my cpu using fedora 4
1. 3Com
2 Dlink wireless card which have my boardband internet connection

the problem is when i active my 3com card the browsing is stop on wireless
card. When i activate my wireless card the ping is stop on my 3com card
How can I activate both card on same time

I would start by looking at how the cards are configured...

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1

And what your routing table looks like, post the output of route -n when internet is working, and also when both interfaces are up and internet is not working.

You should not have a default route defined in the card that is NOT going to the internet.. if you do the traffic is probably getting confused as to where to go when it is trying to reach the internet..
