Talking SNAP!!!!

Your setup is exactly the same as mine, apart from me running Suse 9. I dunno what versions of Windows you are running, but I have some XP and one ME box on the network.

You can see my problems (and the help offerings I received here.

Using the help given, I have almost got my systems running as they should. There is one thing that needs sorting and then that's it.

If you do a google search on Samba Howto, you can find the official howto guide. There is also an unofficial one that's not too bad. I think that in both of them there are instructions on getting a basic samba setup running, and also on how to test if you are running samba.
