Please get a new ns-allinone-2.33.tar.gz from
http://softlayer-ams.dl.sourceforge....ne-2.33.tar.gz
.. and use tar to unpack : $ tar xvf ns-allinone-2.33.tar.gz
`Permission denied´ can be caused by using a Windows© tool.

And no root commands ! Will cause `Permission denied´.
* root is only for 'make install' and for copying 'ns-zrp' to /usr/local/bin/ .

Well, shouldn't take many minutes. 5 - 10 ?
You have all the commands, and can copy/paste those with the mouse.
No reason to do much typing.

And compiling is fast with a modern computer.
