How do I get DNS to be set via DHCP

I'm very new to Linux... I've got my ethernet adapter up, and working. I can PING to sites by IP address. However I cannot reach sites by name. I'm assuming this is a DNS issue on my end? I want DNS to be picked up by DHCP (I move from network to network) however, even putting a primary DNS in doesn't seem to work. All other PCs on network using same DNS are working.
I'm putting the DNS in under Network Device Control using the GUI (nothing against command line, I just don't know many commands yet).
Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

DHCP mini-HOWTO

Are the correct nameservers for your isp in your /etc/resolv.conf file? Here is mine for a sample
Code:
domain infoave.net
nameserver 206.74.254.2
nameserver 204.116.57.2
You may need to edit this file with the proper info if they aren't set by your ISP.

DHCP still not automatically getting DNS

Thanks, I was using the GUI so the file just had what I put in it. I've put in a manual DNS - but still can't figure how to force DHCP to pick it up automatically. Searching turns up lots of answers on how to create my own DNS server (not my intent), but not how to troubleshoot DHCP to see why it's not getting DNS automatically from the DHCP server. On Fedora Core 1 I did get correct DNS from my ISP. I realize I could always just put it in manually, but little problems annoy me. Any suggestions on how to see what DHCP is doing as it relates to aquiring DNS?

Wait until FC3 is released before installing FC2?

The latest releases are always the buggiest releases.
