how do I change the default network packet size from 64 to 32?
 
I need to change the default network packet size from 64 to 32. Does anyone know how to do this? I'm running an enterprise RedHat distribution. thanks

I think it may be the MTU setting - where you would set that though, I have no idea.

I used to work as technical support for Verizon Online DSL, and whenever people had problems transmitting data, it was usually due to an improperly set MTU on the router.

The minimum frame size is 64 bytes, including the 4-byte ethernet frame check sequence.

Google "runt packet."
