How can we tell that our Os is using Linux NET4.0 ???

Hi,

Its dileep...

How to know whether our Linux using TCP/IP suite called Net4 ????.
Ofcourse, while loading the network module it writes into syslog that we
can get through dmesg...
we will get from dmesg like..
Linux NET4.0 for Linux 2.4
Based upon Swansea University Computer Society NET3.039

But, if iam clearing the kernal ring buffer (syslog) that information will not be
avaliable there after.

So ,from where (system call/ configuration file) we can get reliable & consistent
information for the mentioned above...

Thanks in advance...

Dileep
