how can i restrick user to login with ssh?
hi, i have ssh server installed, and i want to be able to give people access to connect to my computer via ssh. How can i restrict the users i want, so they can not access to all the directories in my computer. I just want them to be able of seen 1 directory.(download files or upload them)

Put them to other group where you are (users by default on many distributions), eg. create group 'restricted'. And remove r and x access to other users home directories.

If you want to be paranoid about it, you can alternatively run ssh daemon for them in a chroot jail (or change their login shell to chrooting alternative containg just the one directory for them and sftp with libraries needed by it.)
