how can i remove an address bind


hello friends

i tried to do a java networking program for socket communication.
i used the code like.....

server_socket = new ServerSocket(port);
use
and when connected

Socket socket = server_socket.accept();

so wat happened is that after the listening to the port i am not able to close the port even if i use

server_socket.close()

the adress 1500 is bound and is not reusable till i restart the linux machine

plssssssssssssssssss help
