Where is the share Located? is it on the client PC?

Hi again and sorry for my mistake in my last message.

YES! it is possible for W2k and Linux to Access or share files.

You can install SAMBA to you Linux Box as your file server. And the good thing with SAMBA is... Your client will never know the difference between a W2K File Server from SAMBA! :p
