Angry Hostname trouble ...

When I try to run dip, I obtain this error line
Host name Lookup failure after 20 seconds ...

When I change the hostname with netconf, it seems not to work.
How can I solve this problem?

Check that your hostname is listed in /etc/hosts along with localhost. It should look something like (assuming your machine is 192.168.1.1)
Code:
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.1.1 yourmachine.yourdomain.net yourmachine
HTH

Jamie...
