hostname problem


hey guys,
I got quick question regaring my linux termianl window

i get the following host name: srahn-lt instead of localhost. Does anyone knows why this doing this or how to change that back localhost.
please some one

Type:

PS1='[\u@localhost \w]$'

Or read the manpage for hostname if you actually need to correct your hostname.

try this,

#vi /etc/sysconfig/network

HOSTNAME=<type here your hostname>


and reboot ur system !
