Unhappy Hostname/Port Verification Error


Trying to install Oracle 9i Application Server on a Red Hat Linux Enterprise 3 (ES) server.
When typing in my server hostname/domainname and port number. I get the following error:

An error occured while attempting to verify your host and port. Please verify your host and port values and that you can connect to this host, or enter new values. Use Ourput sTringlist is : localhost.localdoamin*7777*

Return value from SSORunning funciton is INVALID
(I get the same error if I type

Any ideas how I can resolve this ?
