Help with wvdial. Have wvdial not dial and wait till handshake.

Hi,

I made a RJ11 to 2.5mm cord. So what I'll do is dial my number through the cell phone, and have it pick up from there. But I can't have it listening for a dial tone else it won't work. Is there a command that just waits for the handshake and then starts?

Thanks,
Dragos240

Hi, you may need to look up the at&t commands for modems, still used today.

this kind of thing, sorry I have worked with these commands but it was a long time ago.

Hope this helps you find what to research.

Yes perhaps. I will check into that. I'm doing something a bit different and it's not ordinary, so I wouldn't expect the first post have the answer in the actual post. But thanks, I'll see if I can find a command to help with this.
