Unhappy Help with Router /Cable connection

I've got the following problem.. i'm a total newby tot linux an now i'm trying to configure my internet connection.Normally I reach it true my router that is connect to the cable modem of my provider.

Works fine under NT5 but it doesn't under linux.

Well the weird thing is: I can access my router and I can browse on the other "Windows" clients and that's great but i can't get my internet connection to work.... I guess i'm just forgetting something!

Any advise ....?

Seems to me you don't have your DNS servers specified from your ISP.

Add your ISP's DNS servers to /etc/resolv.conf in this format:

nameserver [ip address of first DNS]
nameserver [ip address of second DNS]
