Help with Linux ICS ???

Hello all

When I had Knoppix going thru XP (via ICS) to get to the net it was easy.

Now, its the other way round. How would I get Windows 2000 to access the internet via the Knoppix box? To keep things simple:

Knoppix IP
IP 192.168.0.1
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Broadcast 192.168.0.255

Win2K IP
IP 192.168.0.2
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.0.1
DNS 192.168.0.1

Thanks

Hong

You need the IP Masquerade Howto. As you will see, it hasn't been updated for a while, but that's mainly because the principles and procedures haven't changed.

Have a read, and post any further questions.

Thanks, I'll have a read of that when I get in from work.
