hmmm... I never tried installing that distro yet. I'm sorta a mandrake man. Most other distros though have certain img files you can boot from like network.img or cdrom.img and then when you go to install it depending on from cdrom or network or raid or whichever one you pick you get all the drivers. You could be right with the level cd your installing from it might not be in your cd's definitions. I checked nluug.nl the famous distro ftp site and it doesn't have images like that for that distro unlike redhat, mandrake etc. I pretty much didn't answer your question, maybe trying over on the manufacture's site they might have source code for that driver you could combine with a kernel to make a bootdisk sorta like how I had to do with my Fasttrak raid controller. Let me know if you find anything else good luck.

I'm not sure if they even off source code to be implemented into an iso. It requires compiling with GCC and then using a make install command or something. Sorry I can't help you much with this maybe others can give insight, I was closely following a step by step with my network driver I didn't know what I was doing
