Help with a Routing Table

Anyone who can help me with my routing table? Or perhaps tell me what else may be configured wrong? When I ping my server at 10.0.0.1 I get DUPs. When I traceroute 10.0.0.1, I get nothing.

Im using a ad-hoc conection between 10.0.0.1 and 10.0.0.44 ... my router (10.0.0.0) its connected in 10.0.0.1

What do you mean by "my router (10.0.0.0)" ? And ad-hoc you mean with a crossover cable instead of through a hub ?

{internet}<------->[ router ] ----------------- [ PC / Server ] ------------------ [ PC / Client ]
-----------------------10.0.0.0--------------------------10.0.0.1---------------------------10.0.0.44

Yes, the Server and client are direct connected with a cross o cable.

In IP naming the last octet can't take two special values, 0 and 255, because those are network and broadcast addresses respectively. Hosts (routers, servers, etc) all need to have 1-254 as the last octet.

That means you have to rename your router from 10.0.0.0 to 10.0.0.1 (standard router address). 10.0.0.0 is not an IP host address, it's a network address which means, essentially "the 10.0.0.X network" but doesn't refer to any specific computer.

Do that then see if it fixes it.
