Help using 'net join' to join a windows domain

I've been battling this for some time now.

I use net join -U <adminaccount>

I then get the messege

"realm must be set in in smb.conf for ADS join to succeed.
ADS join did not work, falling back to RPC..."

Any thoughts?

Just add realm = YOURDOMAIN.COM (or whatever you have specified in krb.conf) in smb.conf and restart samba.

Arun.
