I recently decided to make a presence on the web by hosting my website from home. I had linux RH 7.0 box setup and working fine. I recently purchased a domain name and a separate IP. I am using Apache as my WWW server. I am familiar with the configuration file httpd.conf and tried setting it up accordingly.

I had my linux box networked through my router which is my DHCP server. I let linux self configure the network during installion and everything went fine. I was able to surf the internet and everything.

Today I leased another IP address, pluged my linux box directly into my cable modem, configured it to use the new IP (using netconf) and presto nothing! I cant even get online anymore even if I network it back through my router using my old IP!
My ultimate goal is to just get the default homepage published on the net, then I can figure out the rest.
All help is appreciated.
