Help Required


I am new to Linux Fedora. I have installed Linux Fedora and configured Samba also. All the clients have win xp and win 98 O/s.

Whne I Open a files from Linux server , Message pop up 'It is Read only file'. and the files are not getting saved in the Linux server. Please help me to solve this error.

It sounds like a permissions problem. You need to have write permission to save files or edit and save files. You only have read permission. You can change the permissions of a file by using the chmod command.
