Hi
I have recently changed my webserver ip address from
202.xxx.xx.26 to 14.xxx.xxx.26 now when i try to see the website from my pc (192.168.50.225 connected 2 eth2 of linux box) in the browser it says
The following error was encountered:
Connection to 202.xxx.xx.26 Failed
The system returned:
(113) No route to host
The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.
Your cache administrator is root.
Though if i ping from my pc (192.168.50.225 connected 2 eth2 of linux box) to the webserver it shows the new address 14.xxx.xxx.26
If I remove
-A PREROUTING -i eth2 -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-port 3128
from the iptables I can browse the webserver.
This sounds like it might be a DNS problem rather than a SQUID problem. If you dig the hostname from the squid server, do you get the correct (new) IP, or is the old IP still cached?
