help: network card seems to work, but can't get ip address via dhcp.
I've got my Webgear wireless lan card installed on my laptop with mandrake 8.1. I have it configured properly - I think. The driver module is ray_cs and is loaded fine.
If i do ifconfig eth0, it informs me that the card has received 500 kbytes of data (this is seems right, the leds on the card indicate it is transmitting and receiving ok), so it seems to be communicating with the hub.
If I execute 'dhcpcd' it times out with no error message on the console.
Can someone please advise me on where to look to diagnose and fix the problem. I think I'm really close here and it's very frustrating!
The card works in Win2k on the same machine, so I know it's not faulty.
