Hi Guys,

I have a WRTG54S Linksys router and Fedora 11 on my Asus EeePC and I would like to be able to access my Fedora remotely via ssh however I'm not sure which info and were do I need to change it in my router, also I want to be able to change the ssh port access is it from /etc/sshd_config ?

My internet connection at home is via cable modem and with a connection that is always on. (no dialer)

Please advice,

Thx in advanced

Yes
Forward the SSH port from your router to the Fedora machine's IP. www.portforward.com

First you need to configure the router to allow access from the WAN...check your manual or read it here.

Next, use the DMZ section of the router to add the Fedora's IP address (again, read the manual).

This will direct anyone who accesses your WAN IP address to your Fedora.

Please take all appropriate security measures to protect your Fedora...
