Help making simpel Squid.confd
 

HI I'm trying to set up squid on suse 8.2 for the first time ;=)

i need a simple suggestion on a squid.confd file. I don't know what info is needed to make this file, so ill put the info i have.
I don't need any restrictions at all, since I'm the only one who is going to use the connection.

the server ip is 10.0.0.10 and the gateway is 10.0.0.1.
i have 5 GB free space for the cache dirs.

any help and suggestions would be appreciated allot ;)

May I suggest webmin as a handy web based tool to configure alot of things, especially squid. You'll want to save a working copy of your squid.conf before you start experimenting, but you may find alot of options you didn't realize existed.:)
