who can help about the NIC loopback test information or some correlative reference program? I need it lately. thanks.

Linux has many tools. A) "man ethtool" for using ethtool to troubleshoot YOUR system. B) "lspci", "lsusb", "lspci -v" and "lsmod". These show the data in their respective configurations. C) "ifconfig" "ifconfig -a". To show the networking setup. D) "hw info --netcard" and "/usr/sbin/hwinfo --netcard" to see the data about the hardware device(s). There are more...http://www.wiki.com
