Hard time setting network on sysresccd

I am using the latest sysresccd from The image boots fine under two machines, one with fixed ip and the other with dhcp. But I canīt ping any other host.
In the one with dhcp, ifconfig shows an eth0 interface up, but without any ip. When booting the same image in the same machine, but through qemu, sysresccd shows an ip correctly, which is the same as other virtual machines. But it canīt ping any host, just looses packets.
What can I do?
