Handover

I need some help.

I am trying to achieve handover. I had MobileIP set with VTund. And now I want to achieve the seamless handover.

For starters, for example then I am on Wi-Fi, I plug in ether cable and then I use Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi.The thing is, that I get 10second delay, not because of Vtund, but because of Network interface setting up. Is there any way to speed up this process. For example seting ethernet and only then handoffing to it.

Any help would be appreciated, because I am out of any ideas...

You are not explaining yourself well. I gather you are plugging in either cable - how about cutting that out by using a switch, or something to leave both cables connected. Then you can bring up one interface before you take down the other.
