graphical network monitor

Hi all,

I'm new here, I know that this question may have been asked several times but I had difficult
time trying to find the answer. My problem is quite simple: I'm using Suse 9.1 Prof and I'm connecting to the Internet through LAN and a proxy server. Is there any program to monitor my networking status like the two dum screens on Windows box. I want something graphical and can fit into the task bar.

I tried iptraf but it doesn't fit in the task bar with a graphical display.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to LQ.

Take a look at GkrellM and superkaramba.

No problem, I should also have said to look at "iftop" which is good if you want to see the traffic on a machine you are connecting to remotely with ssh.
