Unhappy GPRS via Airtel Using Motorola v3i on Ubuntu 7.04


Please help me out. I'm a newbie in linux.

how do i install GPRS via Airtel on linux using the USB cable (without bluetooth)?
I'm Using Motorola v3i set and Ubuntu 7.04

could some one tell me the steps?
