GPRS connection problem

okay, I made everything right (at least I hope so!)

I have the gprs, gprs-connect-chat, gprs-disconnect-chat, chap-secrets....
And these files was my own backup from the last time when I was using debian and I connected using my cell phone, so I thought this time I would have no problem... well... Im connection through /dev/rfcomm, it is connected, I can Ping with l2ping and I can send AT commands to the cell phone.

When I ran #pppd call gprs

it gaves me the folllow:
Code:
 root@slackbox:/etc/ppp# pppd call gprs
Press CTRL-C to close the connection at any stage!
defining PDP context...
rAT
OK
ATH
OK
ATE1
OK
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","brt.br","",0,0
OK
waiting for connect...

ATD*99*1#
CONNECT
Connected.
If the following ppp negotiations fail,
try restarting the phone.

Serial connection established.
using channel 25
Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/rfcomm0
sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <asyncmap 0x0> <magic 0x9e4d1170> <pcomp> <accomp>]

And these last lines stay repeating forever... And in my cell phone appears connecting...
but I can whait all my life that nothing happens...
any ideia? I tryed search on google and the only results it returned was from exemples of connection with gprs (seens that is normal this lines, but not forever)

please, this is a question of life or death....

And think that was all about a authentication problem...

I forgot to add the username and password to the pap-secrets file

sounds strange - password and username should be set in your mobile device and the file /etc/ppp/options should be empty.
u need 2 scripts - these are mine
ppp-videosat:

pppd connect "/usr/sbin/chat -v -f /etc/ppp/videosat" /dev/modem 38400 lock \
-detach crtscts modem defaultroute noipdefault ipcp-accept-local \
ipcp-accept-remote persist holdoff 10

and videosat
'' ATZ
OK ATDT*99***2#
CONNECT ''
