Gnome Network Servers Menu Entry
Samba seems to be working for me. (For example, smbclient -L arien asks for a password and then lists some things shared on the WinXP computer named arien).
However, in Gnome, by clicking Applications > Network Servers I get two icons that do not work. (Network Neighbourhood and New Server). My goal is to be able to browse the shares on the other computer. However if I double-click Network Neighborhood, it tells me "The application associated with "smb" is invalid." It goes on to tell me Gnome can associate a different application but clicking 'Associate Action' on the dialog box does nothing. I do New Server and type arien and click connect and it says 'Couldn't connect to URI smb://arien'. It tells me to try typing it directly into the address bar and doing that tells me it's not a valid location.
My question is how do I configure the gnome network servers menu to work with Samba?
thanks
