Question Getting DHCP to work with PCMCIA

Is there any trick to getting DHCP to work with a PCMCIA card?
My card is recognized but apparently doesn't get an address...

I have SuSE 8.2 installed on an IBM Thinkpad A20P and Netgear FA511 PCMCIA Ethernet card...

Thanks!
Russ

Moved to the Networking forum
If the card is recognized (probably via the hotplug service) then you can probably just get a lease with 'dhcpcd eth0' (this of course making the bold assumption that your card was assigned as eth0 - run 'dmesg' to see how it was assigned).
