Getting around a proxy server at work

I'd like to setup a system to relay requests between the proxy server at work and my devices, so that I don't have to configure the proxy settings on my devices. Can someone please point me in the right direction.

Check if the company advertises settings via Proxy Auto-Config (PAC) or Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Protocol (WPAD) or else serve the proxy.pac file yourself?

Easy. Ask the company security team how to do it. They maintain the systems so are best placed to help you.

Please read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature. You provide us NO DETAILS at all, so what do you think we'll be able to tell you? You don't tell us what kind of proxy server, firewall, what devices are, running what protocols, etc. We can't guess.

Also, be aware that asking about circumventing data security policies may be against LQ Rules, and if not, is probably CERTAINLY against your company employee rules. Unless you're willing to be fired over doing this WHEN you're caught (because any company with firewalls/proxy servers almost certainly MONITORS those things), then 273 has the best answer. Ask your company network administrators how to accomplish what you're after. If they give you permission, not only will you get assistance doing this, but you also won't be fired FOR doing it.

It would depend on the way the proxy works. I'd agree with unSpawn suggestions.

You can make a local proxy pac file too instead of using the companies. Just use that in the internet config or global.

No linux that I know of can fully use a proxy.pac file for all apps. you may have to edit more than a few config files to get (usually) command line apps working.
