Hi,

Could someone direct me to the documentation, or tell me how to download a specific file (program) from the command line in Debian 3.1. I have searched but can not find any specific info on how to do this...thanks...

If you know the url, you can use "wget". You can also navigate to the site using the lynx or links text based browsers and use their download feature to get the files you want.
