Gateway problems
My computer has two Operating System RedHat9 and winXP.
If I use RedHat9 I have a problem. I have a public IP address 212.200.122.123, and the net mask is 255.255.255.248 . Gateway 10.5.5.1 .The gateway computer is connected to the Linux machine through the wireless. I don’t know why but my linux machine can’t see the gateway machine. If I type the command “ping 10.5.5.1” the answer is: “The network is unreachable”.
But if I use winXP with the same ip, net mask and gateway I see the gateway machine and everything works perfectly(I can ping, I can use internet).
If I type ifconfig:
eth0
