FTP Proxy useing Squid

Hello,

I have a freshly installed Red Hat 9.0 macnie that I woulf like to use Squid as a FTP Proxy.

I've got Squid started already but I would like to know if there is anything I need to confgure to be able to use it as an FTP Proxy. I dont even need this machine to do HTTP requests. Just FTP.

Thanks in advance for your help.

For purly ftp purpose you should rather look for another proxy server... there are some ...

I don't remeber exactly but i have seen in squid faqs that it does not support ftp from client side . i.e . when using ftp with squid .,,,actually u r connecting to ftp server directly so no performance enhancement.!!
